Due to freezing temperatures expected throughout the Houston area over the next few days, and for the safety and security of our students, staff, and families, the district will be closed on Monday, January 26th. The Alief ISD Education Foundation will host their first pickleball tournament on Saturday, March 28, from 10-2 p.m. at Hastings High School.

This event is open to participants ages 10 and up.

Registration $30 per player
Staff discount $25
Seniors and students $20

Special Guests include: Former NFL players, Cliff Avrill, Martellus Bennett, Michael Bennett, and Hip Hop Star, Tobe Nwigwe.

Precinct 4 Commissioner Leslie Briones will host a town hall meeting on Saturday, January 31, from 1-3 p.m. at Hastings Ninth Grade Center.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the public is highly encouraged to attend. Superintendent Dr. Mays will speak at 1:20 p.m.

The Special Education department will host a transition fair on March 21 from 10-noon.
